Principal’s Message

Greetings, Pilot family!

My name is Dr. Amber McKinney-Shivers, the proud Principal of Curtiss Middle School. As an alumnus of Curtiss Middle School and a community resident, I have the privilege to continue my work fostering positive learning experiences for all students at the school.

 

My vision supports the LAUSD Strategic Plan, preparing our students to be Ready for the World. Curtiss Middle School is Carson's GEM. At Curtiss Middle School, we are preparing our students to be PILOTS: Purposeful, Innovative, Leaders that are Optimistic, Transcendent Scholars.

 

I am excited for this new year. We can achieve great things if we all work together as a team. I look forward to meeting each of you!
