Ms. Todd, AVID 7/8 & English 8

Dear Pilot Families,

My name is Ms. Todd and I’m looking forward to working with you this school year.  I began my teaching career in 2003 and joined the Curtiss family in 2007.  I became a teacher because my mother and a handful of caring teachers poured confidence into me.  Also, while attending UCLA, I noticed a lack of people of color and vowed to help more students of color achieve their educational and career goals. The biggest reward for me as a teacher is to encourage students and see them try their best regardless of challenges. Additionally, I believe in treating students with respect and care and ask to be treated the same.
