Dr. Amber McKinney-Shivers, Principal

I am the proud Principal of Curtiss Middle School and Global Engineering Magnet. I have served LAUSD for 22 years as Secondary Teacher, Instructional Coach, Instructional Coordinator, Assistant Principal, and Principal. I am a product of LAUSD and an Alumni of Broadacres Elementary, Curtiss Middle School, and Gardena High School. I earned a Bachelors of Biology and Masters of Science in Biology from California State University Dominguez Hills, Master of Arts in Secondary Education from University of Phoenix , and Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership with an emphasis on Educational from the University of Southern California.
