Curtiss Middle School Uniform Policy

Curtiss Middle School will implement a school-wide uniform policy to promote school pride, unity, professionalism, and a focused learning environment.

Items Not Allowed

  • Jeans, leggings, jeggings, sweatpants, nylon warm-up pants, or cargo pants
  • Clothing with logos, large brand names, sports teams, nicknames, or drug-related imagery (Hollister, Aeropostale, Nike, Adidas, Pink, Puma, Sports Teams, Essentials, etc.)
  • Bandanas, wave caps, scarves, bonnets, or similar headwear
  • Ripped clothing or clothing/accessories with graffiti-style designs or holes
  • Sandals, flip-flops, Crocs, or open-back shoes

Approved Uniform Colors

Navy • Gold • White

  • Polo shirts
  • Curtiss Branded T-Shirts

Other Approved Tops

  • Colors: Navy, Gold, or White
  • T-Shirts
  • Quarter-Zip Sweaters
  • Cardigans
  • Hoodies or Zip-Ups
  • Curtiss Athletic Gear (Must be approved by coaches)

Bottoms

Colors: Navy, Khaki, or Gray

  • Pants
  • Shorts
  • Skorts
  • Skirts

Items should be knee-length
